Sports the 3 most common identifying marks of a true canon ball:
--Bulging equatorial ring
--Circular mark along ring where molten iron entered mold
--Identation 90 degrees from midline ring (In this case both top and bottom)
Found in Sharpsburg, MD, Sight of the Civil War's Battle of Antietam by metal detector
I would like to remind potential buyers that I AM NOT a Civil War historian or munitions expert and I am selling the ball as-is and am not accepting returns without good reason.
