Use with laminate, floating engineered, floating bamboo and luxury vinyl plank (5mm and thicker). Underlayment is for floating floor applications (Flooring that required no glue or nail down.) Will not work with nail/staple or glue down applications or luxury vinyl flooring that is 4mm or thinner flooring.
WATER PROTECTION: Exclusive Dri-Wick Technology of the recycled fibers allow installation over concrete to manage vapors from becoming bulk moisture. The attached vapor barrier protects the overlying floors from harmful water.

IIC (IMPACT INSULATION CLASS) SOUND RATING OF 71: IIC is a measure of how much impact sound (walking, kids playing, etc.) is reduced after traveling through the floor covering, underlayment, and building structure and emerging in the room below. The higher the number generally indicates better sound absorption qualities.
