Here we have a 1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo for sale. GM went with a new design for the' 73 Model Monte Carlo making it Motortrend's Car of the Year. It featured a redesigned front and side profile that sported iconic body lines and appearance that left it to carry a lot of 1 year only options. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet but first we would like to tell you a little about us.Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We will start off with the exterior of this Monte Carlo. The body on it is in great condition as we can see all the lines flow together beautifully from front to rear. Also, the gaps at the doors, hood and trunk look amazing as well. The body is showcased by the Midnight Green paint that has been redone in Base Coat Clear Coat, and it is also the factory option for it. This '73 was factory ordered with the Landau top option that was replaced at the time of the repaint with a new top done in Black. The paint has a been wet sanded and polished to a beautiful finish. It's accented by the correct side molding and lower molding. All the trim is in very nice condition for its age, and we can also see it has the body color painted sport mirrors. Up front the grill is in excellent condition along with the bumper and emblems. Out back the same can be said for the trim, emblems, and bumper. To finish off the stance it's sitting on a new set of 15" Americans with new Cooper Cobra White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '73. On the inside it's done in the factory options and looks to be close to all original. It features the front and rear bench seats that sport their factory covers and padding that is all in phenomenal condition. The door panels all look to be original as well, they are equally impressive and feature the standard windows that go up and down with a great fit. Looking at the dash we can see that it doesn't show any signs of abuse or neglect. All the gauges are beautiful, and it sports the woodgrain accents that tie in perfectly to the factory steering wheel. We can see that this Monte Carlo comes with tilt wheel and still has the factory style radio along with factory air conditioning and heat. Inside the trunk is all solid and has been detailed out in the factory style splatter paint along with having the jack and spare.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it's powered by the original 350 V8. It's dressed out with the factory style valve covers and air cleaner. The engine bay is all clean and looks to have been well cared for as the inner fenders and firewall are all solid. This Monte Carlo comes set up with Power Steering, Factory Air Conditioning, and Power Brakes with Disc up front and drums out back. The 350 V8 engine is mated to the 350 Turbo Trans that goes out back to the 10 Bolt Rear End. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and mufflers that flow out back. When we look under this Chevrolet you can see that it has well cared for. It has the original frame and pans. The frame is all solid and doesn't show any signs of abuse from front to back. The floor pans and trunk pan are also in great condition. All the fuel and brakes lines are in good condition along with the gas tank. Out back it has the rear sway bar and the stock style suspension. Up front it has the stock suspension set up as well. On the highway it runs out great as the engine performs excellent and the transmission shifts smooth. It has a great ride, and everything is responsive.

The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
